Parent/Guardian’s Role

As the Parent/Guardian of the club swimmer, your main responsibility is to provide a safe and supporting environment. This support will encourage your child to feel good about his or her performance in competitive swimming. Be a positive role model. Parents/ Guardians may be requested to carry out simple supportive tasks voluntarily during swim meets or any other club events e.g. fundraising events.

Squad Description

GLIDERS swim club has been developed by its professional coaching team to build and develop swimmer’s techniques. Swimmers will be handled to reach the goals







Lost and Found

Swimmers should keep all personal belongings on the designated area provided and not in the changing rooms during practice sessions and swim meets.
The club is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Parent Code of Conduct

As a Parent of GLIDERS SWIM CLUB, I will abide by the following code of conduct:

  • As a parent, I will not coach or interfere with my child or any other swimmers during training sessions.
  • Demonstrate good sportsmanship by conducting myself in a manner that earns the respect of my child, other swimmers, parents, officials and coaches at meets and practices.
  • Practice teamwork with all swimmers, coaches and parents/guardians by supporting the values of Sportsmanship, Team Spirit, and Hard Work.
  • During competitions, queries regarding decision making of meet officials are directed to a member of our coaching staff ONLY.
